We had a little time off....

So we went on some adventures.

For one of our adventures we drove up to Gettysburg. AMAZING! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so amazing to drive around the park and learn about the events that took place there.

That was our practice run drive for the journey to Indiana. We had so much fun visiting the Felts! Nicole is a master chef and a brilliant hostess. It was really neat to see Dave's school/ mad scientist labs. Downtown Indianapolis is very cool, the zoo, we have no doubts, is very cool when the animals are out of hibernation (Sterling still loved it), but the main event is the Indainapolis Children's Museum. I felt like I was a guest in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory or some other wild imagination think tank.

Of course the highlight of the trip was being able to spend time with Dave and Nicole and to watch all the cousins love each other and play.

We love our family!

The rest of our adventures mostly revolved around watching movies, eating icecream, and other non-adventurous relaxing activites.

The blossoms in Cville right now are gorgeous! Spring here is so amazing!

Here is a picture of little Princess Kerrie, who has recently learned the art of female demands and manipulation. I think she likes to wear this crown around more for status than for dress up.

We are so grateful for both our kids, life is good.
